I was raised in rural Lincolnshire having quite a care-free childhood, though at school I often felt like an observer and was too shy to come forward.  Fortunately, when stepping away from full-time education to join the world of work, I gradually blossomed into a true connector, caring deeply, laughing easily and always curious.

My 30 year career in the travel industry has taken me to many fascinating places, but by far the most fulfilling aspect was working alongside my many amazing colleagues and loyal customers.

My leadership skills were often tested, and at times I got it wrong, but seeing the growth and progress of my team members often took my breath away.

The richness of this part of my life stays with me, and it’s what I thank for setting me on the path of helping others to become empowered and take charge of their lives.

Fast forward, my 2 children are pretty awesome young adults, and in recent years, I’ve happily dedicated the time and effort needed for my own personal growth and professional development, and it’s a never ending journey that’s enlightening beyond belief.
